To Do List not working properly

My IOS canvas app is v.8.1.0 right now and I opened the app to check my to do list and its not working the way it always has. I do not have the ability to remove things from my to do list and things that I have submitted already are not being removed from my to do list. I also have no notifications for assignments that are due. How do I get my to do list back to the way it was. I have already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and that did not do anything.

Exact same thing is happening to me. To Do list shows every assignment from this week whether it's completed or not, as well as from classes I have archived and events, with no way to check things as done. I really do not hope this is not part of the permanent 8.1.0 update, because this is very unhelpful if so.

This is my same issue yesterday there was an app update after that the to do list has been changed and now it shows due dates till the end of semister insted of by weekly and its soo confusing

I put a ticket into Canvas for this, and this was their reply:

There is a known bug about this to do list behavior, and I am associating your case to the master incident

Im having the same issue , i recently got a new phone , and it must of updated my app. I no longer can see my to do list for the current week...

Is anyone having an issue in which past due assignments that have not been submitted are no longer showing on the To Do list on the mobile app (that is, only activities with FUTURE due dates are displaying)?

Yeah I have the same problem. It is showing me everything that is due through the end of the semester on the to do list, and doesn't show notifications for what is coming up. Annoying.

I am having the same exact issue. Brought it up in class and they were clueless. Felt entirely nuts, came online and got validated. Please fix this issue, it’s overwhelming not being able to directly see what I need to do.

same issue phone updated to 18.6.2 on iPhone and to do list are showing all assignments and assignments that I already submitted.
