Long lag time in Canvas when I type anything

The new speedgrader would be fine except that whenever I type anything in the comments/feedback box, it takes at least ten seconds for the words to show up. Then I found out that it is happening if I create Announcements, too. I will have to type into a separate document and then copy and paste to grade papers. Any ideas?

Hi @estraw,

I have used both the old SpeedGrader and new SpeedGrader. Is this happening with anything that you are grading or only certain assignments or certain types of submissions (e.g. text entry vs. specific file types)?

Have you reported it to your institution's Canvas team?
