Can an instructor manually assign students or groups to Calendar Appointments?

Question

Instructors are using appointment groups to schedule groups of student for oral assessment. Whilst most student complete the process, there are always a small number that don't and the instructor would like to be able to manually assign those groups to an empty time slot in the schedule.  Any advice appreciated.

@atbarbary At this time, it is not possible for a Teacher to register for an appointment time on behalf of a Student through Canvas. If you would like to see this feature added, I would recommend posting it to Canvas Ideas. As of now though, only and account admin masquerading as a specific student would be able to schedule an appointment on their behalf.
