I am a Canvas Administrator for Ball State University. In reviewing the Deploy/Release Notes, I am thinking about how I want to frame the use of the Activity Logs for New Quizzes. The new functionality will allow certain roles to view the IP addresses of students. I'm considering what recommendations to make to our IT partners about this setting, as it opens up some privacy concerns, which are always top of mind for students.
Does anyone else have any thoughts or would like to share what kinds of recommendations you are making around privacy at your institution?
