Can a Survey be recovered if deleted?
It might be possible to "undelete" it. Basically, by adding /undelete to the end of the main course page, you can see some items recently deleted. See Undeleting things in Canvas - Instructure Community - 267116 for more,
Since that page has a limited number of items it shows, you may not see the survey at first. By restoring the items that do show up (probably other surveys/quizzes, as I think the limit is per item type), other items will start showing up after refreshing the page, including hopefully the survey you are looking for.
