I am making a quiz question with multiple answers. Is there a way for an automatic response statement to appear when a student clicks on answer?
Do you mean before the student submits the quiz, giving them a chance to try again?
If that's what you want, and I'm not sure it is, you can do that with some html:
To get that, when editing the options, select the pen on the right of the option (visible when hovering it) to be able to edit in the rich content editor:
Then you can edit the html in the rich content editor and add

Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
