How do I add a recurring Zoom Meeting to my Canvas class? All I see is IT Zoom, which is just help for faculty.
Do you see a Zoom Meeting button in Settings -> Navigation? If you do, drag it to the visible for students part, save, and then click the Zoom Meeting button that will show up in the navigation menu.
If not, your University may not have added the Zoom LTI in Canvas. You can still add a recurring Zoom meeting by creating the recurring meeting inside the Zoom app, and then sharing the meeting link and password on Canvas.
Hi @CynthiaIrvine,
As referenced by @Gabriel33, if Zoom has been integrated by the Canvas team at your school it will appear in each Canvas course on the left-side in the course navigation area.
If they have completed the integration and if Zoom is not visible there, it might be hidden and you would need to follow the guidance in the How do I manage Course Navigation links? - Instructure Community - 1020 support article.
If Zoom is there, you can follow the instrutions put together by MIT in their How to Schedule Zoom Meetings in Your Canvas Course - MIT Sloan Teaching & Learning Technologies support article.
Please let us know if you need anything else.

Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
My Canvas shell has three different sections that all meet at different times throughout the week. I need to be able to batch edit assignment due dates by section, but right now Canvas can't filter by section for batch edit. My only option is now to manually (tediously) edit due dates for each assignment individually.
Morning! One of the more frustrating aspects of Canvas are groups and the issues that show up when copying courses that have them. But now we have yet another issue. Most recently we have had instances where people mark an assignment/discussion as a group assignment but then do not link the discussion or assignment to any…
