This is weird. Canvas Commons does not update my course when I update it from there. I had to put the module in Commons simultaneously. Does anyone know how to update the Course in Commons without this hassle?

While I could be wrong about this, I am almost posititve that this is only available for when you're updating full course shells. I think canvas commons knows when you're sharing / updating the same course because it takes the ID of that course and checks it. With modules, though, they don't have a unique identification like that, since modules are something that allow you to organize your course content and resources, and don't have an actual ID number specific to them.
That being said, I don't think you can just update a module with the same resource.

I am a Canvas admin and when importing a New Quiz to Canvas Commons it only uploads one multiple choice question. None of the matching, hotspot, stimulus questions, etc are getting uploading. Is this a known issue in Commons and New Quizzes. Am I better off just creating a course and sharing the New Quizzes with staff?
