I have links that work correctly on a computer, but those same links in the Canvas app on my iPhone point to files in a different course of mine. Any ideas why that might be?
Hey @twilliams8 ,
Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community! I apologize that it's been a while since you've posted this message, and you're just now receiving a reply.
Did you by chance duplicate or copy and paste the file from one course to your other course? I wonder if that's why it's acting like that on the mobile app. I've done that in the past and have experienced the same behavior, so I wonder if that's a possibility. Are these files linked to another page, or are they by chance also embedded?
All the best!Noah
* Hello to all and thanks for any help anyone can provide. As recently as the end of the 24/25 school year in June, when my students turned in an assignment I would use my Canvas iPhone app to look at student grades and record them into my gradebook on my laptop. I teach 5 sections of the same class. Previously I could go…

The assignment view of my gradebook is pretty meaningless to students, and all of the information about growth and mastery of different learning objectives in the class is displayed in the Learning Mastery gradebook. Unfortunately, they can't see this view…

I’ve already tried everything I could think of: logging out, starring courses, restarting my device, clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, and even removing the…
I have 3 children in the same school system. When using the mobile app it list all 3 children's classes. They are not organized and they are all jumbled together. They run by class period, then A or B day, and then alphabetical. I have a 12th grader, 11th grader, and 7th grader. There are simple additional filters that…
I have the Teacher Canvas app on my iPad. Last year, I was able to annotate student work with my Apple Pencil on uploaded student work. This year, however, when I click on the Assignment, I am unable to annotate the assignment. I can still assign a grade but I want to be able to indicate to the student where the errors are…
