How do you unfavorite or favorite a course in inbox?

Question

I do not see how to favorite or unfavorite courses but the Canvas community information regarding filtering emails refers to the Favorites as "courses you have favorited" so I assume there is a way to do that. Several of my old courses are in my favorites, but I never put them there.

To manage your favourite courses list, please follow this guide to view all your courses: 📔 How do I view all my Canvas courses?

Then, click on the "Star" icon next to each course to mark it as a favourite (orange) or unfavorite it (blank/white).

I totally agree with @jerry_nguyen on this one.  You might also want to take a look at this Guide ... as it describes more about the star icon that Jerry refers to in his reply.
