Ability to be removed from old groups

I was previously added to numerous groups in previous courses within Canva; however, now that I've completed the classes, they still populate under my "current groups" tab instead of only the current semester's groups. I have groups from 2021 till current showing.

Did your school by chance fully conclude these courses? Or are they still populating on your Dashboard / Active Courses list? If they are still populating under the active courses list and on your dashboard, that means the course was never actually concluded or ended, and the administrator of your school's Canvas instance will need to either manually conclude those, or set course end dates so the courses end.

However, if the courses are concluded, and there's still groups populating in your Canvas, I'd reach out to the instructor of the course and see if it would be possible to delete the groups or just remove you, if it's cluttering up your Canvas groups. However, after the courses are concluded, the groups should be removed from the active state and removed from the groups menu.
