How do I copy my Syllabus in Canvas (many pages) and send it to another instructor?
Hello @kmorehouse ...
I think some clarification is needed on your question. When you say that your syllabus in Canvas is many pages, do you mean that your syllabus is a single document (such as a PDF file) with many pages? Or, do you mean that you have a Canvas course consisting of many pages that you want to share with another instructor? If you could help to provide additional information about your course, that would be helpful...thanks!
Hey @kmorehouse -
In addition to what @Chris_Hofer said, I thought I'd add in too. You can use the Canvas Shared Content feature and directly share the syllabus with anyone you want (as long as they are a teacher, ta or designer in at least one canvas course), regardless if its a page, file, etc. We do this quite a lot at my institution, and it usually works seamlessly. Or, if you are trying to share it with several people at once, you could always utilize Canvas Commons, as well.
Hope this helps a bit, too!- Noah
Breakout Discussions would enable instructors to orchestrate multi-phase discussions that mirror effective classroom facilitation patterns. An instructor creates a master discussion topic, then segments participants into small breakout groups for focused conversation, and finally reconvenes everyone into a unified thread…
Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Hi everyone, Is there anyway I can download all discussion posts, similar to downloading assignments? Thank you. Zehra
Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
