Is there a way for a student in a course with multiple instructors to send an email to them without having to add each individual instructor in the "To" field (e.g. shared inbox) so all of the instructors can monitor the inbox?
Hi @KrystalLaharty,
I don't believe there is quite the concept of a "shared inbox" for multiple users in Canvas. If a student wants to message all of the teachers in a course though, they should be able to just use the "all" option after selecting the course and teacher role, as shown here:
This should create basically a group conversation thread, which is similar to what I'd call a shared inbox, and does not require the student to select every teacher. The option to message all like this may be limited by some permission settings though, so you may need to work with your school/institution Canvas teams if your students don't see this option.
Hope this helps!

The current placement of the "Submit" button creates a "slip" in user behavior where habit-clicking "Next" leads to an accidental final submission. This is my first time using the new discussion "checkpoints". I'm hoping the multiple due dates are effective, but using the "checkpoints" does seem to create other problems: They only allow for ONE "reply to topic". The way I use discussions in some of my classes is to allow for students to ask MULTIPLE questions per…
