My 60 question quiz is done and now I'd like to add them all at once to an Item Bank. Where can I select all and add them? Please tell I don't have to do them one at a time....
Hey @tjeffrey!
I believe the ability to add all of the questions to a questions bank at the same time can be done by exporting the New Quiz as a QTI file, and then importing the QTI file to an Item Bank. Check out the following Community Guides to show how this is done.
How do I export a New Quiz from a course?
How do I import questions from a QTI package into an item bank in New Quizzes?
Realize that once you import the QTI file into the Item Bank, the questions in the Item Bank will not be associated with the original quiz. If the plan is to use the Item Bank with a quiz, you may want to create another quiz and use the Item Bank to add questions to the newly created quiz. Seems like a few extra steps, but it is easier and faster than adding each question one at a time.
Hope this helps!
Is there a way to show only the overall grade a submission received? We have students rotate through a set of assignments over a few weeks and would like to give them an overall grade as soon as possible. But we want to hide the specific feedback until everyone has done a particular assignment. I have found the grade…
A faculty has the results of an ungraded anonymous survey in their course. They want to export the data to perform analysis / share with other faculty. Is there anyway to do achieve this?
With the new SpeedGrader UI, we are seeing student names appear in the page title even when the “Hide student names” setting is enabled. When using Classic Quizzes, there is no option within the quiz settings to enable anonymous grading, so we rely on instructors using the hide student names setting in SpeedGrader to…
Speedgrader chaning file name when being downloaded. Speedgrader: When downloading a submitted assignment, the file name is being changed to an unrecognizable name — (Student's actual name was part of the file name — changed for privacy.) Ideas???
This is my first time using the new discussion "checkpoints". I'm hoping the multiple due dates are effective, but using the "checkpoints" does seem to create other problems: They only allow for ONE "reply to topic". The way I use discussions in some of my classes is to allow for students to ask MULTIPLE questions per…
