Can I give discussion first response and replies different due dates?
Hi @benjamin_kiraco,
After Instructure releases the checkpoints feature for discussions to production, check with your Canvas team because the feature is set to be disabled and unlocked by default but they might change the default to disabled and locked.
This is documented in Canvas Release Notes (2024-11-16) under "Multiple Due Dates for Discussions". Make sure to review the FAQ document that is available in the release notes.

I need to be able to batch edit assignment due dates by section, but right now Canvas can't filter by section for batch edit. My only option is now to manually (tediously) edit due dates for each assignment individually.
Morning! One of the more frustrating aspects of Canvas are groups and the issues that show up when copying courses that have them. But now we have yet another issue. Most recently we have had instances where people mark an assignment/discussion as a group assignment but then do not link the discussion or assignment to any…
