Duplicating a Module with classical quizzes or LTI assignments

Canvas doesn't allow duplication of a module if it contains classical quizzes or LTI assignments, but our use case is to assign one module to section A  and a duplicated module with different quiz settings to section B. Does anyone know how to do that?

Okay, this is an awful work around, but if the modules contain a lot of non - quiz items is it possible to duplicate before adding the quizzes - maybe even creating the quizzes in a separate module

Another possibility - which I have tested - might be to create links to the quizzes - as module links - while the quizzes are in a separate module
