Sending Classic Quizzes Question Banks to other instructors

I would like for a colleague to have access to the Question Banks that I have created in Classic Quizzes. When I send her a Classic Quiz, she only receives the "Details" section, but not the "Question Bank" with all of my questions.

I know that this can be done for New Quizzes, but what about Classic Quizzes? (Both of us are "old school.")

Thank you for posting in the community!

I can absolutely understand being old school and using only classic quizzes. We have a few options that I just played around with in my own sandbox course that might help you out!

If you are using "Question Banks" for classic quizzes there is no inherent way to share just the question bank AND all the questions inside them together. We have to share the questions that are found in the bank and that can be done one of two ways:
1. You can add those questions to a classic quiz and use the "Send to" function to send the entire quiz to your friend by typing in their name. Guide on that HERE. Keep in mind the questions have to appear inside the quiz (see screenshot 1) and they cant be "linked" to a question bank.
2. You can add those questions from the bank into the quiz (same as in screenshot 1) and "Export" a copy of the quiz. This will give you a downloadable QTI file that you can email to your friend and when they "Import" that into their course it will create a quiz & a question bank. THIS is how you export a quiz in this manner.

Each Question Bank has from 60 to 80 questions in it, from which I draw 15 questions for a timed Quiz given in a synchronous class (Zoom). The students see each question one at a time, and they can't go and change their answers. The reason for this is to avoid cheating.

For this scenario, would you recommend Option 1 or Option 2?

When you are creating a quiz and/or also reviewing a quiz in Canvas after the class has taken it, the questions aren't numbered so after you get past the first few questions, there is no way to even tell what number you are on. Can someone change that?
