Removing old alerts in Syllabus from transferred course after transfer is completed

I have copied then imported a course from last year to this one. I see a number of undated alerts in the Syllabus and have no idea how to delete them. They are tied to classes and exercises from the old course that I am not using this year (and have deleted from the course).

They are not in the Calendar for this course (and I tried to delete them from the old course Calendar to no effect).

Please help.

Hi @jennifer_harri2,

When you're in the calendar, have you expanded the "undated" area? That's where those items should be found, and you'd be able to click on them and delete form there. I'll attach a couple screenshots...

In the future, when you import content from an old course into a new course shell, be sure to choose the option to "select" content. Then you can choose what you want to bring over such as modules. If you import all content, then you can get stuck with a lot of old events and announcements.
