Hello there, @Lejarcegui ...
It sounds like you would like to make a suggestion for improvements and/or enhancements to Canvas. The area you posted this topic in is more for asking questions rather than submitting new ideas. Fortunately, the Canvas Community (the site you're on right now) has a dedicated space to submit new ideas for consideration. I would encourage you to read through the documentation under the heading "Ideas and Themes" at: Instructure Community Guide - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com). Then, to submit your idea, go to: Canvas Ideas and Themes - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com). Click on the blue "View and Submit Ideas" button. On the next screen, click on the blue "Submit an Idea" button. This will get you started on the idea process to submit for consideration.
I hope this will help in some way...even if it wasn't a direct answer to your question.

However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
The current placement of the "Submit" button creates a "slip" in user behavior where habit-clicking "Next" leads to an accidental final submission. I think Canvas could easily fix this by: Moving the Submit button away from the navigation buttons (maybe above the question instead of below it) and/or Adding a "Confirm…
