I would like to set the gradebook to take a one-time 30% deduction for late work submissions. How do I set that up?
I was going to refer you to the Canvas Guides document on how to add a late-submission policy, but then I caught you want a one-time deduction. Currently there is a requirement to add a frequency to whatever deduction we add, and the only options are hourly or daily. Adding a option for a one-time deduction is an excellent suggestion. The best way to make Canvas better by adding new features is to use the idea process here in the Instructure Community.
