I would like to set the gradebook to take a one-time 30% deduction for late work submissions. How do I set that up?
I was going to refer you to the Canvas Guides document on how to add a late-submission policy, but then I caught you want a one-time deduction. Currently there is a requirement to add a frequency to whatever deduction we add, and the only options are hourly or daily. Adding a option for a one-time deduction is an excellent suggestion. The best way to make Canvas better by adding new features is to use the idea process here in the Instructure Community. I am just curiousas to why there is not a field to enter a description for an outcome at the account level? Or at least edit the rating when you attach/link an account level outcome to a rubric. When you create a new criterion for a rubric, you enter a decription for a rating, but for an account level outcome.

I have been asked to discover whether Canvas Catalog can accept eCheck payments. My thought is that since Catalog is configured to redirect to a payment form at our Payment Gateway, that this might be more a question of configuring an additional option into the Catalog and payment gateway settings. Has anyone done this?
