Features Between Open source vs paid Canvas

Question

Hello Canvas Community, Just a general question. What features do you get in the Cloud Hosted version of Canvas that you do not get in the open source version of canvas? Ive noticed that our school has access to this thing called "Commons" for staff but in the open source version I host, Staff dont get it.

Is there any other features you get besides Priority support and cloud host that I dont know about.

Hi @RamonTyson,

Instructure has a FAQ document on the Canvas-lms github page that highlights some of the things that are not currently supported with the open source version.  I hope the list there is helpful for you!
