Quick question: Is it possible to upload Excel files with macros enabled?

You can upload basically any file you'd like to Canvas. If you're asking if the build-in previewer (DocViewer) will be able to display the file online though, I think the answer is going to be no. If you upload a xlsm file, I believe it'll need to be downloaded and opened with Excel on the viewer's end.
