I am a student and have old courses and training sessions that I no longer need/wish to see in Canvas. Is there a way to remove those old courses?

You're going to want to check with folks at Wayne State University about removing courses from your Canvas Dashboard. Unfortunately, this isn't something that Canvas Community members here would be able to assist with. If you can contact someone in your University's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Learning team, they should be able to tell you what their policy is for removing any courses.
Note, you can also go to your "Courses" >> "All Courses" screen within Canvas to remove the yellow star next to course names so that they do not appear as a "favorite" on your Dashboard. The courses would still be listed on your "All Courses" screen...just not displayed on your Dashboard after removing the yellow star.
I hope this info will be of some help to you! Good luck!

Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
I wonder if others have had this response, but I think it is troubling messaging for students that, no matter how well they may do on an assignment, they are given a signal that anything below a perfect score should be marked/denoted with a red color, as if those grades are poor, or even lesser. I think it is harmful for…
I have a student that was in a tag called "ac" and recently moved him to a different tag, "AC." I did ensure the old tag was removed; however on a canvas PAGE he sees both pages the "ac" and "AC" Canvas Pages. I removed the assigned tags to the page and the one tag to the student thinking maybe if I remove and reassign…
