As an instructor, if I would like to provide my classes with additional websites, videos, etc. that are relevant to discussion of that week, would I post them as a new discussion, as an announcement, or send a message to their inbox?
Hi @klangan,
I don't think there is really a single "right" answer for this one, and you'll have a lot of options to accomplish this. In my mind, this sounds like something you could put on on a page in the pages area, or you could create a Module full of links as well. Whatever way you go, you could definitely also make an announcement about it to students, letting them know where you have put the resources and that they are not available.
Hope this helps a bit!

Is there a way to turn feedback off until a student's final attempt in "new" quizzes like there is in "classic" quizzes? If not, is there a timeline for this to occur. As a math teacher, I put worked out solutions in the feedback options. I love the "build upon" option, but cannot use it if I put worked out solutions in…
Our "Outcomes" has not been working for about 6 months. Teachers can't build and attach Outcomes to new quizzes. Canvas said it was a rollover issue. Canvas won't fix it unless we pay them $2000 to "re-train" us for 10 hours. Has anyone had this problem and did it get fixed?
I am currently teaching a high school Spanish course, and many of my assignments use the fill-in-the-blank question type in new quizzes. Has anyone found gaps in their course analytics ? I'm currently seeing missing last view date, last participation date, and participations at overall course level, even though the same data is present at individual week and student level. Am also seeing truncated asset counts ie we are seeing only the global header counts,…
Hi everyone, We’d love to hear from anyone who has experience using ReadyTech or aXcelerate as their SMS integrated with Canvas. How was your experience, and what’s your feedback? We’re currently exploring which option to use and would appreciate your insights. Thanks in advance for your responses!
