Test Student--not in every class

Why do some classes have a "Test Student" while others do not?

If you had used the "Test Student" role to see how your course will look as a student would see it, then the "Test Student" role would show up in your Gradebook.  You might be able to remove the "Test Student" role in those courses, however.  Here's what you can try in your course:

1. Click on your "Settings" button on the left-hand side course navigation.
2. Click on the "Sections" tab.
3. Click on the section name under the heading "Course Sections".
4. On the next screen, under the heading "Current Enrollments", find the "Student, Test" user.  Try scrolling your mouse over "Student, Test" to see if it highlights with a gray box.  If it does, you should see a round red and white "x" at the top right corner of the gray box.  Click the "x" to remove "Student, Test" from the course.

If you view the course using the "Test Student" role again, you'd need to repeat the steps above if you wanted to remove it from the course.
