Need "turned in" option in gradebook without hiding assignment

I would like you to add a "Turned In" option in the gradebook like the "Exempt", and "Missing" options. If I haven't graded all the assignments yet, I want parents to know that it's been turned in but not graded yet. I do not want to "hide" the assignment because parents and students also need to know if their assignment is "missing"

It sounds like you are suggesting an enhancement or feature request for Canvas. If that is the case, there is another area here in the Community to do that. It used to be called Feature Ideas, but it has been recently renamed to Ideas and Themes. Here is where you can see where certain themes have been identified. You can also submit a new idea by going to: Canvas Ideas - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com). Also, please keep in mind the guidelines for submitting ideas...which you can find at: Community - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com).
