Free response questions missing in speed grader when using question groups (Canvas Quiz)

I have created a quiz that pulls questions from question banks using the Question Group feature. When I go to grade the quiz in speed grader, only the multiple choice questions appear and I am unable to find where to grade the free response questions. Furthermore, the student is automatically assigned a grade based only on the multiple choice questions (so the students are getting assigned a 4/11 and panicking). Any thoughts on this issue?

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with grading text entry questions for quizzes. The speedgrader should display every type of question that they answered in the quiz. However, text entry and file uploads are not graded automatically by Canvas - you will need to enter a point value for the question itself per quiz. Also, it should tell you at the top of the quizzes "The following questions need reviewing"  as  seen in this guide here:

Once you enter point values for these last questions, please hit "update scores" at the bottom - this should resolve the issue. If you need help with this still, it would be best if you contacted Canvas Support directly to pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution:
