Is there a feature in Canvas that mimics a bulletin board? Namely a place where students can "post" artwork they have created? I have though of doing it with a discussion but wonder if there is another way.

Unfortunately, Canvas does not have a bulletin board feature built in to the LMS (Learning Management System). My first thought was to maybe try embedding a Padlet into your course for you and your students to use.
There's probably other online/virtual bulleting boards that might work as well.
