Drop box / auto upload files / connect links to a repository for later use

Hi,

I  was wondering if there was a way to upload files from the desktop automatically, that is without me doing anything more than saving them to a folder. A drop box or  app like Google Drive. It would be nice for student work, documents t hat I'm using in class, or other items that I want to post to my file (or other) area rather than go through the multiple steps of logging in, etc.

I don't think that is possible in the way you want to do it (my assumption is you put the files in your drop box and then they are transferred to the files area of Canvas).

The only way I know of to do what you want would be for you to have a location for files already present (they could just be blank files as place holders) and the links to those files present in Canvas.  Then as you add actual files with content, you replace the blank files with the ones with content.
