Canvas assignment shows "submitted" also shows "try again"

Question

I have submitted my document as an attached file, I can see the file when I click on the assignment, and it shows submitted with the date and time submitted. However, on the bottom in between the "previous" and "next" buttons, there is a button that says "try again", Is my document submitted properly or do I need to upload it again? Thank you!

Hi @LeticiaSol,

The "try again" button is there if you would like to make a second submission.  In a case where you perhaps picked the wrong file the first time, a resubmission could help.  Sometimes teachers also give feedback on a draft and then want students to resubmit a new version of the document to the same assignment.  If you can see your submitted document and are happy with it, you should be all set.
