Our Elementary Sub Account is set with a Mastery Scale of FOUR Mastery levels: * Insufficient Evidence * Developing * Approaching * Meets However, we have a special project with our Office of English Language Learners who would like to use the WIDA Levels of language proficiency -- and I was hoping to be able to add those…
Why is there the setting "Lock this setting for sub-accounts and courses" if this can't be opted out at the course level? There should be an opt-out at the course level and we should also be able to have tags available and disabled by default. This is something that courses should be able to opt-into, not forced to opt-out…
Hello, I would really like to know if it's possible to edit the icons available in the canvas navigation menu. For example, changing the icon of the "control panel" button and adding another button, an extra button in the menu. Is this possible? If so, how?

I recently opened a New Quiz that students already took and started deleting questions to edit, but I realized I was deleting questions in the wrong quiz. Is there anyway to store those individual questions? I tried the "undelete" website option but it did not show anything for the individual questions that I deleted.

I have a faculty member who is saying this is happening, but has gone in an updated the questions so I don't have a good example to share with support. I was curious if anyone has…
Students submitted papers via a formal Assignment. I'm unable to directly edit the submission?
I uploaded a power point to my CANVAS course and my student told me that since they don't have power point on their PC, they cannot open the power point. What should my student do in order to open the powerpoint?

This late penalty works as expected for all of my assignments and discussion boards that DO NOT USE the checkpoint grading option. What do I mean that it does not work? It DOES apply the late…
How can I display the correct answer (not the accepted answer) for formula questions with tolerance in New Quizzes? Scenario: * Correct answer from formula: 0.9001 * Tolerance: +/- 0.1 (forgives rounding errors across 8 calculation steps) * Accepted answer from student: 1.0 (accepted as correct due to tolerance) Problem: *…
