On the page about the learning mastery gradebook, it says that instructors can view all students at the same time. However, Canvas actually only shows me 20 students per page. I would like to see all 200 of my students on one page. It is a pain to click through 10 pages. I know I can export to a .csv and then use…
Is there a way for a student user to generate a complete list of assignments (missing) for ALL courses they are enrolled in? Right now they can do that by going course by course but it would be awesome if they could generate a master list somehow.
Hi, This topic was asked back in 2021 and archived and am wondering if there has been any progress since then. I can't see anything new in the Guides. Context: I have students undertake oral vivas online across a 4-week period. If a student fails and is required to re-sit e.g., in week 1, then obviously (due to the length…
Hi everyone, I was doing some testing in our Canvas test environment around the Differentiation Tag feature and noticed something odd with the student count when filtering and tagging. In one course that had 49 students, I filtered all students and selected them using the checkbox in the top left corner. It showed 123…
Hello, I am seeking confirmation from IT/LMS Admin specialists regarding the interpretation of a specific pattern in a student’s Quiz Log, where NO third-party proctoring software was used. The quiz attempt was taken on a Windows OS machine that experiences intermittent screen flickering/display controller issues. The log…
Hi Today I noticed that I can not move a page which I have duplicated, from one module to another. I'm using Firefox web browser. I was able to do it at the beginning of the week but not today, it works OK in Chrome, but it's not my favourite web browser. Is anyone else using Firefox and noticed the same issue?
For some reason I cannot get the fill in the blanks to trigger the dropdown. I have cleared my history, tried typing the question, copy and paste from the example. I cannot figure out why the options are not showing in the dropdown.
I have an instructor who wrote me about this issue: When students are taking a quiz (classic) every time they flag a question it jumps them all the way back to the beginning and they have to scroll back down to where they were. You can imagine how annoying that is on a 70 or 80 question test. She shared of video with me of…
Is there any way to make the speed grader comment box smaller or expandable. Most times I write a word or 2 in the comments box but then have to take the extra step of scrolling down to find the submit button.
I can't see the images in reports when we're reviewing questions in class.
