Quizzes.Next API

When will there be details of the Quizzes.Next API or will it not have an API but only QTI import and export?

I am trying to decide if it worthwhile trying to migrate some existing quizzes from another system via the "Beta" Quiz API or if I should be converting them to QTI. They are currently formatted as an Excel spreadsheet in "QI625" format.

What I have learned thus far is that difficult as it was to learn, using the API to directly instantiate quiz questions via the current Canvas API works. An additional advantage is that these questions can now be exported in QTI format.

However, what seems to be missing is APIs for question banks. with functions to list, create, and move questions from one bank to another. Will there be such an API and will it work with the new Quizzes.Next?
