I'm currently taking Engl c1000 online with canvas and I have followed instructions and completed all of my assignments but a green checkmark is not appearing past the Teachers Welcome page which is marked as "viewed" with a green checkmark next to it. The next assignment was student introduction, which I couldn't view the thread until I posted my intro, so I did. I followed the rubric, followed up by commenting on other students intro's. The assignment was due last week and I'm not sure I got points for it because there's no checkmark. I marked the discussion thread as read, scrolled all the way to the bottom and clicked next, and nothing. Cleared my browser cookies/cache/history etc, still not advancing. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't my submission alone and scrolling to the end of the page force a green checkmark to appear? I'm able to click, view and submit all of the assignments, which says it's been successfully submitted, but again, there are no checkmarks next to any of them and I'm kind of panicking that I'm not doing something right.
Should I contact Canvas tech support because it's something on their end, or is it on my end or something my professor can do on her end?
