This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 2/23/26.
Summary
Students may be unable to submit work to Google Assignment items. The assignment still appears but is currently disabled by default. A recent key update overrode any custom settings that had previously enabled the tool. Customizations for this tool need to be reset to restore functionality.
Expected Behavior
Re-instate the placement so students can submit.
