Agentic Browsers - has anyone taken steps to address the concerns?

I've had some faculty ask if could block agentic browsers such as Comet, ChatGPT Atlas, and Dia from being able to access Canvas. Have any schools taken a stance on this? Has Instructure mentioned any technical controls around this topic? I was unable to find any articles in a quick search, other than requiring LDB for all assessments.

My understanding is that the new access token management options are specifically designed to help with this issue, since most of these tools require the use of access tokens. However, I'd love to hear from others who have experimented with it exactly how well it works for this purpose….

There was an interesting paper by a Spanish University at the Dublin Learning Analytics conference last year where they presented an API based approach that could screen student access across multiple AI tools, together with an audit of their prompts and responses, which I believe was browser based. I'll look for a reference.
