Download Survey results

I recently tried the new Survey in Canvas, It worked well and was easy to use. However getting the results in a downloadable file has proved difficult.

I have seen in the help docs there should be a side bar, mine does not have that. It is also suggested there is an option in the reports or moderate sections but i cannot see any option there either.

I have good news for you! There will be a CSV download option released this weekend. See Canvas Release Notes (2026-02-21) - Instructure Community for details. That should be exactly what you need :).

Unfortunately, the survey exports/results addition got delayed until next month. Hopefully in a few more weeks everything will be released.
