I have a teacher with a quiz that is graded, but the assignment itself goes into our SIS (PowerSchool), but th egrades are not going over, but the sync information says it all went over. How do I remedy this?
@CatMichie I have seen this happen occasionally back when we were on PowerSchool. If you've made sure that the Assignment Groups in Canvas are aligned with the Categories in Powerschool, I would attempt a Remaster Grade Passback for this issue to re-push this assignment. Next, I would check the Grade Sync page and make sure that there aren't any errors. If there are, I would fix them using the SIS Error Code dictionary.
Just as a pro tip, it's recommended that the Assignment Groups in Canvas have the same name as the Categories in PowerSchool so that it's easy to troubleshoot. Hope this helps!
@CatMichie welcome to the Community! Have you checked to make sure that the Assignment Groups (and weights, if used) are the same in both Canvas and the SIS? This can cause this issue. Is there ANY way to automate/force Canvas to sync ungraded assignments with Veracross SIS? right now our only solution is to require teachers to enter a fake grade, sync, and then remove it. I am willing to entertain 3rd party solutions if there is one available.

When a student turns in a late assignment, I need it to also show as late in Skyward. Having to go in and manually mark multiple assignments late for 130 students is tedious and time consuming. If Canvas recognizes the assignment as late, the same mark needs to be sent to Skyward when it is synced.
How do I add a student to an existing benchmark assessment tracker? The students were imported from our SIS when tracker was created and this student has recently enrolled.
