Moving assignments from one month to another on the calendar

Is there a quick way to move assignments on the calendar from one month to another? Jan ends on a Saturday, so all of my assignments I want moved to Feb I can't move quickly. I used to use the mini calendar at the top, but now when you change the month up there, it changes the whole calendar. Anyone have advice?

Hi @KarenK93777977, you don’t need to drag each event one-by-one. Use the Assignments bulk-date editor instead:

Open the course and go to Assignments.
Click the three vertical dots in the top right of the Assignments page.
Choose Edit Assignment Dates (this opens the bulk editor).
In the list that appears, change the due/available/unlock dates using the date pickers (you can switch months there).
When finished, click Save Changes, the Calendar and assignment due dates will update together.

A couple of quick cautions: double-check any section-specific “Assign to” settings (those can have different dates) and any module release rules, since those aren’t always adjusted by the bulk editor.

Hello @KarenK93777977 - have you tried this on the big calendar, linked in your global navigation menu on the left side of the screen? Assignments can easily be dragged to a new date from that interface.

I can do it, if it is the correct month. But, when months change, I am unable to slide it to the next month.
