CSS Code to Disable Instructor Ability to Change Course Code

Would anyone have CSS code that limits an instructor's ability to change the course code field on the Settings page? If the course code field can be hidden that would also work for our needs. We need to allow instructors the ability to change the course name, but not the course code.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You’ll need to upload custom JavaScript to check whether the user’s role is teacher, then run a script to disable the input. However, please note this method is not bulletproof, as users (if they know how) can always disable custom JavaScript.
