Canvas is not allowing me to attach PowerPoints from Microsoft One Drive.

When I go in to configure external tool and add an external URL, Canvas will not connect with and imbed my PowerPoints in my assignments for my students.

Normally when I have done this for the last 5 years it will connect the One Drive Powerpoint to my assignment.

We are having to do all our work on paper. Can this issue be resolved?

If the OneDrive connection is not working, this is most likely to do with settings in your main account/LTI issues which may need review with your account admin. I have seen in the past that the LTI is not as stable and organisations may turn the connection off, or find ways to avoid using it (as so many extra files and sharepoints are created).

To overcome this, I have seen a shared student sharepoint file that has been created with student view only access. Files are uploaded to this sharepoint and then shared in Canvas through a hyperlink. Would this work in your scenario - or something similar?

Allow Observers to View Instructor Comments
It would be very beneficial for observers (parents) if they could view instructor comments. If they had access to this information, they could better understand the grading of individual assignments and better understand the errors that their student made.
