We want to create a course role for paras/ specialists so that they can help administer tests students when they meet with students so they would need to be able to see the quiz code. Is there a way to do this without also giving editing access for the quiz/ course? Many teachers are hesitant to allow someone else with editing access into their precious courses.

You could give them Student Support rights, the have these permissions
