How to change email address for login?

Question

I signed up for a parent login for my child's school.  After that I kept having trouble logging in until I noticed the autofill for my login from my browser had a typo in the email.  I changed my email in the Settings but I still have to use the email address with the typo in it to log in.  How can I correct the login email?

@PaulCone I would suggest contacting your child's school for assistance. We unfortunately don't have access to how instances are set up, and your school can escalate the account issue to your district's Canvas Admin who can help assist with getting the email corrected.
