Unmerging Canvas Courses

I made a mistake when merging my high school courses and I need to undo the process. My 1st block course is/was all ready with notes and assignments etc etc. I meant to put 3rd block into 1st block but I mistakenly went the other way. Now I can't find any of the notes and assignments etc etc and if I try to re-cross list, I don't have a 1st block to go back too.

I am using a K12 free account and not sure who my admin would be. Please help!!

@MandyWalker17 Unfortunately, that means you no longer hold an enrollment for that course.

I'm not sure if they will be able to unmerge your course for you. But, I'm glad you still submitted a tech support ticket because it's still worth a shot.

Hi there @MandyWalker17 ,

K12 Free for Teacher does not have a dedicated admin, as it's a free service provided to educators by Instructure and is not associated with a specific institution.

You can de-crosslist your courses from the same page you crosslisted your courses from originally. I'll provide you with a guide with more information here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-de-cross-list-a-section-in-a-course-as-an-instructor/ta-p/1259

Unfortunately, I don't have the option to de-crosslist. Just re-crosslist. I put in a support ticket so hopefully they can go in and undo the merge.
