I just deleted a module I need. How do I find it and undelete it?
Hi there, @LauraKilborn ...
There's no guarantee this will work, but there's a somewhat known/somewhat unknown trick called the "undelete" trick that might work for you. Go to your course "Home" page, and then add the word "undelete" to the end of your URL. So, you might have something like:
https://SchoolName.instructure.com/courses/12345/undelete ...where SchoolName is your own school's name
When you get to the "undelete" page, you might see your module listed there somewhere, and you can click the "restore" button to try and restore it to your course. Check out this blog post for more details.

Hope this helps!
Click on the Home tab of the course then in the address bar add to the address /undelete. This will show you what you have deleted and gives you the option to restore those deletions. I hope this helps. Here is a link that can help you as well. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-LMS-Blog/Undeleting-things-in-Canvas/ba-p/267116.

Speedgrader chaning file name when being downloaded. Speedgrader: When downloading a submitted assignment, the file name is being changed to an unrecognizable name — (Student's actual name was part of the file name — changed for privacy.) Ideas???
We are all familiar with the standard Course Calendar, where assignment due dates are automatically added. However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
The current placement of the "Submit" button creates a "slip" in user behavior where habit-clicking "Next" leads to an accidental final submission. I think Canvas could easily fix this by: Moving the Submit button away from the navigation buttons (maybe above the question instead of below it) and/or Adding a "Confirm…
Hi there. I started playing with portfolio this week. I'm looking at how a portfolio can be used across several semesters for programmatic assessment. In my Canvas site I can create a portfolio and link courses and assignments from this semester, but I can't edit it to add new courses each new session. Is that on the…
