Free Teacher Account - Login Error "Failed to fetch"

Question

Since the transition to the new login interface, I keep getting an error that says "failed to fetch," I have to click on Browse Courses to get to my dashboard. I tried to log in with Google using the same email address as the account I already created, and it went to a brand new account.

Is anyone else getting this error? Is there something I am missing to get this to work correctly?

Hi @JessieFalabella,

When I created my Free For Teacher user account, which was back in 2018, at https://canvas.instructure.com/login I did not associate my user account with any of the other login/authentication options and I am able to still log into it since the recent changes.

I have reached out to a contact at Instructure and asked them to look into this.
