This will be a bit tough to answer here in the Community because we don't have access to your school's Canvas environment or any of the courses you are taking. Since you state you aren't able to submit an assignment to your instructor, it's possible that your instructor has not set up the assignment correctly to accept file submissions. It's also possible (though maybe less likely) that your instructor is using a third-party tool to accept assignment submissions. These would be questions you'd want to contact your instructor about.
