How do I change my last name in Canvas?

I have two last names and I used the incorrect one when I signed up for Canvas. How can I change it?

Hi @JuliaFisseha ...

Normally, name changes are handled through your school.  You'd want to check with your school's Registration department and/or your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Learning team, and someone should be able to tell you the proper process to get your name updated.  Since your name is within your school's Student Information System (SIS), they will probably have to update your name there, and that will then update your name in Canvas.
