In the old quizzes I could see how each class performed on a quiz. In new quizzes, I don't see that option anymore. If does exist, where is it? If it doesn't why not and can we add it?
@tjeffrey I suppose that your contrast between individual classes & the whole group means your course contains multiple sections. Sections are enrollment lists that can be moved between classes (crosslisted). They are used to differentiate due dates, announcements & discussions, etc. Classic quiz statistics include a section filter. New Quizzes item analysis does not currently have a section filter. My guess about why it does not have a section filter is that New Quizzes is a separate application connected to Canvas via LTI. New Quizzes does not need to take section memberships into account to function properly, and implementing section-specific features probably involves a fair amount of extra work. There is an idea about this feature request already, and it is attached to a prioritized theme. You might consider subscribing to [New Quizzes] Include section filters in item analysis and Improve quiz analysis through robust reporting .

The LTI tool accepts a configured 11:59 as up to 11:59:59. Whereas Canvas treats the deadline as 11:59:00. Why does this matter? Well,…
Is having students read the textbook considered an assignment or an activity if there is no grade but a required date?
Hoping someone can explain for me. We're using pacing to avoid manually dating regular assignments each quarter, but the dates I see are based on when the course was instantiated, while students see dates based on when they were added to the course by [backend software I don't know anything about, presumably]. If I set…
Has anyone else had issues with an influx of duplicate users in Canvas? Ours is currently in the form of an email that already exists, becoming a new user - and not automatically merging with the user ID with the same email that also is linked to our SIS ID correctly as well. For example, user 1 is xyz@gmail.com without a…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
