Differentiation of instruction in Canvas. It would be really helpful if you could publish specific modules to specific students.

There is good news for you. This feature is on their roadmap.
Under "Learning is customized and accessible for all students", it has "Educators will be able to selectively release modules to individuals and sections, further enabling differentiated instruction and personalizing learning content for students."
Currently, it's scheduled for the second quarter (Apr-Jun) 2024.

I like creating groups within a course. Then, each group has their own homepage, as well as access to the overall course shell. What is nice about it is that you can assign things to your specific groups.

While typing an Announcement, sometimes midway, we need to check something for which we click on Grades or Assignments. Then when we return to Announcements, what we types simply disappears. It will be very helpful to have a DRAFT option under Announcements so that the unfinished message is not lost.

My class policy is that late assignments can be accepted at professor discretion, but they will have a 50% penalty. This is a gate you pass through once, and there are no further penalties.
